1. Who We Are

Clawsers operates at clawsers.com and provides AI-powered Instagram DM automation services for influencer marketing professionals. For all privacy-related inquiries, contact us at privacy@clawsers.com.

2. Data We Collect

When you connect your Instagram account through our service, we collect:

Instagram account access tokens (OAuth tokens issued by Meta)
Instagram usernames and account identifiers
Facebook Page IDs associated with your Instagram Business account
DM message content received through your connected account
Campaign metadata (connection timestamps, account activity status)

We do not collect payment information, browsing history, or any data unrelated to operating your DM campaign.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to operate the AI-powered DM response service you have authorized. Specifically:

Generating AI responses to incoming Instagram DMs on your behalf
Routing messages to and from the Instagram Graph API using your access token
Maintaining conversation context within an active session

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, analytics products, model training, or any purpose other than operating your authorized campaign.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data only with the following service providers, strictly as required to operate the service:

Anthropic — LLM API provider. DM message content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. Anthropic's data usage is governed by their Privacy Policy.
Meta Platforms — Your access token is used to read and send messages via the Instagram Graph API. Meta's data handling is governed by Meta's Platform Terms and Privacy Policy.
Hetzner Online GmbH — Our infrastructure runs on Hetzner VPS servers located in the European Union (Germany/Finland). Hetzner does not access application data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for commercial or marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Hetzner VPS infrastructure located within the European Union. All data is encrypted at rest. All data in transit is protected by HTTPS/TLS. Access tokens are stored in an isolated database accessible only to the service runtime.

6. Data Retention

Account tokens and identifiers are retained while your account is actively connected to Clawsers.
Upon disconnection or upon your written request, all account data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
DM message content is not retained beyond the immediate conversation context needed to generate a response. We do not build persistent message archives.

7. Your GDPR Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Articles 15–17 and related provisions):

Right of access (Art. 15) — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification (Art. 16) — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to erasure (Art. 17) — Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18) — Request that we limit how we process your data.
Right to data portability (Art. 20) — Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
Right to object (Art. 21) — Object to processing of your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@clawsers.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

8. Cookies

Clawsers does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any browser-based tracking technologies on this website.

9. Children

Clawsers is a professional service intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us immediately at privacy@clawsers.com and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify connected users.
