Data Deletion Instructions
If you'd like Clawsers to delete personal information we hold about you, follow the instructions below. We respond to every request within 30 days.
You have a Clawsers account
If you signed up for Clawsers and connected your Instagram account, you can request full account deletion at any time.
How to request
- Log in to your dashboard at app.clawsers.com and use the Delete Account control under Settings → Account, when available.
- Or email privacy@clawsers.com from the address registered with your account, with the subject line
Delete my account.
What happens after you request
- Your account record and all configuration are removed within 30 days.
- Direct message and comment logs collected on your behalf are deleted within 30 days.
- Backups containing residual data are rotated out within 90 days.
- You will receive an email confirmation when deletion completes.
You can also revoke Clawsers' access to your Instagram account at any time by removing the integration from your Meta business assets — this immediately stops new data collection.
You sent a message or comment to a Clawsers-powered account
If you interacted with an Instagram account that uses Clawsers — by sending a direct message or commenting on a post or reel — you can request that we delete the personal information we hold about you.
How to request
- Email privacy@clawsers.com with the subject line
End-user data deletion request. - Include in your message:
- The Instagram username of the operator you interacted with (the account you messaged or commented on)
- Your own Instagram username, so we can locate your messages
- Approximate date of the interaction (helpful but optional)
- We will respond within 30 days. If we need additional information to verify your identity or locate your data, we will reach out.
If we cannot verify the request — for example, if there's no record of an interaction matching the details you provide — we will explain why and tell you what additional information would help.
Requests forwarded by Meta
If Meta forwards a deletion request to Clawsers on your behalf through its platform, we process it according to the same standard described above. You don't need to do anything else.
